Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is inviting applications for the following position:

1. Principal – 01 vacancy
2. Professor – 03 vacancies
3. Associate Professor – 12 vacancies
4. Assistant Professor (Technical) – 33 vacancies
5. Assistant Professor (Non-Technical) – 23 vacancies
Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 45 yrs and 55 yrs for Principal post, between 35 yrs and 50 yrs for Post 2 and 3, between 21 yrs and 38 yrs for posts 4 and 5. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech/Master’s Degree in relevant discipline. For more details refer to the notification.
Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 5/- (Rs. 5.50/- for SC/ST candidates) in form of in form of Treasury Challan Head of Account ‘Non Tax Revenue-Other Non Tax Revenue-0051-PSC, 102-State Public Service Commission Application/Examination Fee Receipt of A.P.S.C’.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test and Personal Interview.
