Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd(RVUN) Invites Applications For Junior Engineer In Electrical / Mechanical / Control & Instrumentation / Civil / Fire Fighting Departments In 2010

Graduate Engineers possessing any one of the following recognized Degree in Engineering or AMIE as on the 17th March, 2010 and willing to join RVUN and its subsidiary companies as Junior Engineer-I, may apply against the vacancies given below:-

Junior Engineer-I (Electrical): 137 Posts
Qualification: Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Plant Engineering.

Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical): 136 Posts
Qualification: Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering/ Production & Industrial / Thermal / Mechanical & Automation / Power Plant Engineering.

Junior Engineer-I (Control & Instrumentation): 24 Posts
Qualification: Electronics/ Electronics & Tele-Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Controls/ Electronics & Power/Power Electronics/ Industrial Electronics.

Junior Engineer-I (Civil): 35 Posts
Qualification: Civil Engineering

Junior Engineer-I (Fire Fighting): 19 Posts
Qualification:

Essential:
Candidates must hold a Degree in Engineering or equivalent from a University established by Law in India or a Degree of a foreign University or institution, declared by the competent authority equivalent to a Degree in Engineering of a University established by Law in India, on the 17th March,

The Degree in Engineering must be with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or AMIE with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. Provided that in case of Degree in Engineering, OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category candidates of Non-creamy layer will be allowed relaxation of 5% marks, and SC/ ST category and Physically Handicapped candidates will be allowed relaxation of 10% marks. In case of AMIE qualification, candidates of SC, ST, OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category of Non-creamy layer and Physically Handicapped will be allowed relaxation of 5% in marks

Age (as on 17.3.2010):
The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must have not attained the age of 35 years as on 17th March, 2010. Provided that the maximum age for :
(a). male candidates of SC, ST, OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category of Non-creamy layer and female candidates of Unreserved category may be relaxed by 5 years.
(b). female candidates of SC, ST and OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category of Non-creamy layer may be relaxed by 10 years.
(c). Physically Handicapped candidates of Unreserved category, OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category of Noncreamy layer and SC/ ST category may be relaxed upto 10 years, 13 years and 15 years respectively.

Note: The provision of age relaxation is non-cumulative i.e. relaxation may be claimed under any one provision, but relaxation admissible under any two clauses cannot be clubbed.

Reservation:
Reserved category candidates should belong to one of the categories notified for the Rajasthan State as SC or ST or OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) of Non-creamy layer. Caste certificates issued in the prescribed format by the appropriate Competent Authority of Rajasthan State only will be considered as valid for availing the benefit of reservation, including relaxation in Application fee. Married Female candidates of SC and ST Categories should produce caste certificate issued with the name & residence of their father/ mother and not with the name & residence of their husband .

OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category candidates of Non-creamy layer should produce certificates issued in the prescribed format by the appropriate Competent Authority of Rajasthan State only during the last six (6) months clearly indicating that they do not belong to the “Creamy Layer”. The OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category Certificate of Non-creamy layer of a married female candidate must be based on the name, residence and income/wealth of her parents and not on the basis of the name, residence & income/wealth of her husband. Candidates not fulfilling the above criteria should apply as “Unreserved” category candidates and should also submit Application fee accordingly.

Remuneration:
Candidates selected will be initially engaged as “Probationer-Trainee” for a period of two (2) years and during the period of probation-training, they will be paid fixed remuneration at the rate of Rs.10,000/- per month. After successful completion of probation-training they will be fixed in the regular pay scale of Junior Engineer-I in Running Pay Band of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 3,200/- i.e. at initial Basic pay of Rs. 12,500/- & other allowances, including Generation based incentive, as per rules. Facility of residential accommodation in the residential colonies of Company (subject to availability) and conveyance facility between the colony and Power Station may also be provided as per rules.

Application Fee:
Unreserved category and OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category candidates should send ‘Demand Draft of Rs 100/-‘ as nonrefundable application fee and the SC/ ST and Physically Handicapped category candidates should send ‘Demand Draft of Rs. 50/-‘, favoring “Sr .AO(EA/Cash), RVUN, Jaipur”, payable at ‘Jaipur’. The Demand Draft must be purchased on or after the date of opening of the Online Registration i.e. from 03/03/2010 to the date of close of the Online Registration i.e. upto 17/03/2010.

Procedure of Online application:
All eligible candidates are required to apply “ONLINE” only on RVUN’s website – www.rvunl.com on or before 17th March, 2010 (5.00 PM). The online Registration of applications will start on 3rd March, 2010 (10.00 AM) and will remain operative till 17th March, 2010 (5.00 PM). The system generated printout of the application form, alongwith Demand Draft and other documents as per the details given in this advertisement, should also be sent by Ordinary Post so as to reach on or before 26th March, 2010 (5.00 PM) at the address given in this advertisement. All candidates having registration in Manpower Planning Department, Rajasthan or Employment Exchanges are also required to apply through this procedure only. Before proceeding for Online Application (i.e. registering application) on the website, candidates should possess the following :-
(i) A valid “E-mail ID” for filling up the application form. In case, a candidate is already not having a valid E-mail ID, he/she can create a new E-mail ID, which should be valid for the entire duration of this recruitment process.
(ii) A recent passport size colour photograph for affixing on the system generated printout of the application form.
(iii) Demand Draft of Rs 100/- as non-refundable application fee for Unreserved and OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category candidates or Rs. 50/- for SC/ ST and Physically Handicapped category candidates, favoring “Sr.AO(EA/Cash), RVUN, Jaipur”, payable at ‘Jaipur’. Name of the candidate and the system generated “Registration Number” should be clearly indicated at the back of the Demand Draft. The Demand Draft must be purchased on or after opening of the Online Registration i.e. from 03/03/2010 to the close of the Online Registration i.e. upto 17/03/2010.
